Biography A.A. Vollenhoven

In December 2008, Aart Vollenhoven was appointed as Finance and Supply Chain Director of NEDMAG INDUSTRIES Mining & Manufacturing Holding B.V. in Veendam, the Netherlands.

Aart Vollenhoven was born in Rotterdam in 1958. After obtaining a Bachelors in Marketing and a Bachelors in Finance, he graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Henley the Management College (Brunel University of London). In the late seventies, he started his career as Export Area Manager in the confectionery industry, which was followed by a career at Van Melle N.V. in the Finance, Supply Chain and ICT disciplines at Corporate, Business Unit and Operating Company level, both in the Netherlands and abroad. From 2005 until 2008, he held the position of Finance Director at Kerry Bio-Science (the Netherlands) and ECCO shoes (Indonesia).
