Calcium chloride

Magnesium chloride

Magnesium supplementation to dairy cattle and sheep is very important in order to prevent grass tetany (also called grass staggers, magnesium tetany, hypomagnesia). Grass tetany is a magnesium deficiency of ruminants and is usually associated with the grazing of cool-season grasses during spring. Added magnesium can be provided through a magnesium block, tub or mineral mix.
